ABOUT

I’m a freelance story editor, audio producer, and sound artist based in New York City. I’m also an adjunct professor at NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.

I first got hooked on audio storytelling while working with StoryCorps, traveling around the United States collecting stories to be broadcast on NPR and archived in the Library of Congress. I have worked at WNYC, Feet in 2 Worlds, and Radio Diaries, where I produced award-winning documentaries.

My speciality is producing non-narrated profiles, audio diaries and historical documentaries. I also write articles, and produce listening events and audio tours. In my work as a story editor, I help reporters and producers make their stories the best they can be. I have worked with LAist, American Public Media, Feet in 2 Worlds, Radio Workshop, and other media outlets.

Collaboration, curiosity, listening, and play are key principles to my work.
